    1. Thank you kindly dear Lois, it’s lovely to be back 😊💚 The pigs were very calm and friendly when I saw them and I later met a mud-covered woman who told me they were very boisterous half an hour earlier and nearly knocked her over!

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words dear Cathy, we had a blissful time and managed to get a dry walk most days between the heavy showers 💚 I was glad the pigs were sweet and calm when I met them, although they’d probably made me laugh too the way the woman described their antics! 😊Wishing you a peaceful evening and much love back from our house to yours 🤗💕🐕 xxx

    1. Thank you kindly dear Anne and so sorry to hear people would want to shoot these sweet animals. Thankfully, the pigs we encountered here are free to roam naturally as well as being protected as part of a lovely rewilding programme 💚 xxx

  2. Welcome back, Xenia. I hope you enjoyed your holiday. What part of the world did you visit.
I love the images of the pigs.
In the New Forest the pigs are let out to roam and forage in early Autumn, they scoop up the acorns that are poisonous to the New Forest ponies. 🙂

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words dear Sue and so lovely to hear that pigs are allowed to roam the New Forest in autumn to scoop up acorns! 🧡 We had a blissful time in Bamff near Alyth (in north-east Perthshire) and the landowners allow their pigs and cattle to roam free as part of a rewilding project. I only encountered the pigs on an evening stroll with my camera and never saw any of the cattle, although I met people who had seen them wander through the woods too 💚 xxx
