Even though the flowers are beginning to fade we’re still enjoying peacock, admiral and painted lady butterflies on the Buddleia. The painted ladies seem to be most at ease around our paparazzi and you can see more images in an earlier post here.

In case you missed them, Karina shared two beautiful photographs of a Common Blue butterfly in Ireland and Dwight shared images of some wonderful flowers, bees and a variety of butterflies in North Carolina.

It is lovely to see that they, like us here in the Highlands, are seeing more butterflies this year than last year. You can see more images from the butterflies in our garden here.
