The above haiku were first published in EarthRise Rolling Haiku Collaboration 2021 – Entering the Earth as part of a four-haiku sequence, dedicated to the memory of Rachel Corrie (1979-2003), who was killed by an Israeli army bulldozer while she was peacefully protesting against the demolition of the home of a Palestinian family.
