  1. Great shots, Xenia; nothing better than having the waves to yourself; peace, quiet & solitude 👏 Reminds me of when my wife & I used to go body-boarding in Cornwall 😃 I think my favourite was body-boarding off the north-west shore of Lewis; great waves, deserted but very cold 🥶😂

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words dear Jez! Cornwall sounds like a wonderful place for body-boarding and I can imagine that Lewis would have been truly amazing 😀💦

  2. Gorgeous images, Xenia. I recall seeing surfers on the Oregon Coast from time to time. The water was so cold up there that they wore full-body neoprene wetsuits to stay dry and retain body heat. These shots remind me of those Oregon surfers as they braved the harsh weather to catch a wave. 🙂

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words dear Mike and lovely to hear it brings back fond memories of your special times on the Oregon Coast 😊 This surfer was in full neoprene too and the wind-chill made it an unseasonably cold morning! 💙

  3. It has been a while since I visited … I’ve missed how you masterfully capture a dynamic moment in a memory nugget, in both image and word. A lovely accompaniment to morning tea.
