Thank you again for all your good wishes before we went on our blogging break!

We had a relaxing time with beautiful walks in quiet areas (without a phone signal and limited internet) and hope you had a peaceful week too.

Wishing you a blessed Sunday and a happy week ahead,

with love from Xenia xxx

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words dear Yvette, I wonder about the story too and couldn’t find any further information. The grounds are in new ownership and it looks as if this bench relates to someone who lived here before. The love can still be felt when we read her words 💚 xxx

      1. Yes – love can still be felt and reminds me how powerful a memorial can be – and this is way better than the gaudy expensive marble slabs and status items some folks have – this has depth and beauty and naturalness

  1. I like your eye for the beauty and decay. I believe it (Decay, weathering) is a manifestation of the wisdom we desire but we are afraid of if not wise. Beautiful blog.
