Our thoughts are with him and his family at this difficult time and with all of you who recently lost a loved one.

  1. Such a beautiful dedication! So very sorry to read about the death of Kristjaan’s mother. By the time this terrible pandemic is over, there will be so many people grieving for loved ones who have died from Covid-19.

  6. A lovely tribute Xenia – how sad for all of us. The lives of those lost will have an effect on us all, but especially of course on their loved ones. May they find peace.

    I loved your little oystercatchers. they are one of my favorites to photograph because of their bright red eyes and orange beaks, which you’ve captured beautifully.

      1. I think that she was passing by to say farewell. with that rainbow. I know that sounds a bit like the Twilight Zone but I recently had an infant that I had been praying for pass through the bedroom at 5:30 am one morning. I just knew the little one had gone. I found out later, from her Grandmother , that 5:30 was the exact time she had left this life I have not had things like that happen before but I am now keeping an open mind .
