It is a treat to see how patient herons are when using these trusted old methods to catch a new meal every day.

At the same I felt for the small fish and said a few prayers for him and his family.

      1. I came across a juvenile in the shallows recently, they kept their eyes on the water almost pretending, if I can’t see you, you can’t see me…he or she was a delight to watch for a few precious moments.
