Thank you again for all your good wishes before we went on our break!
It was lovely to spend some time in the Cairngorms and see the ice melting on the lochs.
Wishing you all a wonderful Wednesday,
with love from Xenia xxx

Thank you so much for your kind words dear Tina. It’s still quite cold and we had to wrap up warm for our hike in the Cairngorms – the melting ice is hopefully a promise of warmer times to come! xxx

Beautiful images, Xenia 👏 It’s incredible how something so “curvy” like water can produce such geometric patterns when it freezes 😃

Great to see you, Xenia! What fabulous photos you have. The second photo of the ice sheet was mysterious to me before I scrolled to the third. They’re lovely.

Beautiful, Xenia. Glad you had a nice break. My husband and I are supposed to be staying in the Cairngorms in nine weeks, but I don’t think things are looking good at this point. I know a lot can happen in two months, but I can’t help but get the sinking feeling we may have to cancel our trip.

Thank you so much for your kind words dear Wendy. There is a lot of uncertainty at present and it may be difficult to travel until more is known. Fingers crossed you will be able to stay in the Cairngorms when it is safe to travel again xxx
