It was a real treat to see this turnstone in his winter plumage the other day. He foraged for food in the narrow spaces between stones whilst I waited patiently nearby, not wanting to disturb him.

Sweet and lovely birds. I love birds. I would especially love the sound of the birds and the sound of water, should that be a stream there. It looks like it could be, but I don’t see water. Beautiful photos.
