Tanka: Mountain Frog

side by side
letting each other be
the frog and I
his eyes a lake of gold
high up in the mountains

  1. I can’t remember the last time I saw a frog. We used to see them all the time when we were kids. He’s a lovely colour πŸ’š

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words dear Cathy πŸ™‚πŸ’œ We’ve seen frogs in the rock pools and tiny streams and waterfalls in the mountains of the West and it’s the first time I’ve seen them since I was a child. I was sitting on a rock to take some photographs of the landscape below when he sat down beside me. Hope you’re having a great day too and much love to you and Finn from all of us here πŸ€—πŸ’–πŸ• xxx
