We have the same camera! It takes photos like this one so well, doesn’t it? I love photos with a sharp focus object and blurred background.

Thank you so much for your kind words dear Karen, so lovely to hear you have the same camera 💜 It’s so portable and versatile and I especially love the lens for close up and macro shots 🙂💖

Strange name for a very beautiful flower.

Thank you dear Lois 💜 I thought it was an odd name too (they’re called ‘Pinksterbloem’ in Dutch, which means ‘Whitsun Flower’) until I began to hear the cuckoo calling when seeing these flowers in bloom 🙂💖🐦🎶 xxx

I have never heard of cuckoo flowers. So pretty!

Thank you dear Laurie 💜 They flower in late Spring and we see them in forests and meadows, often accompanied by the sound of a cuckoo calling from a nearby tree 🙂🎶

New flower for me, too. What a beauty! Does it grow wild?

Do you get orange tip butterflies feeding on these flowers like we do?

How lovely that you have orange tip butterflies feeding on them Karina, I haven’t seen them this far North. We see a lot of small whites and peacock butterflies in the Highlands 🙂💖🦋
